Polaroid Cube Review

In preparing this review, we did not sit on the spot. And all because they tested the Polaroid Cube action camera, which is made in the shape of a tiny cube and can shoot 1080p video. A magnet is built into the camera body, which means it is possible to fix the device on any iron surface, for example, on a bicycle. We have done this (and not only), and are ready to tell and show you what we have done.

Autonomous work

According to official data, the maximum battery life is one and a half hours. This refers to the continuous shooting mode, as the gadget simply stays much longer in the active state.

We charged the camera every day, and during the test we never discharged it completely. At the same time, the most active day in terms of shooting volumes is half an hour of video recording and about half an hour more when the camera was on, taking pictures from time to time.

The instruction states that when the charge level reaches 10%, the device will beep and the indicator will turn red (at 0% the signal will be double). When you connect the device to the computer, it also squeaks, and when the battery is fully charged, the green indicator lights up.

Results

A small and bright gadget for shooting almost anything. Such device costs about 6790 rubles. Unfortunately, without accessories, its “stickiness” is limited by more or less flat iron surfaces, and the ability to cling it to a helmet, belt, handlebar or dive with it only comes with the purchase of additional branded accessories, which, however, are inexpensive. And it removes the Polaroid Cube perfectly (especially the video), and besides it pleases with its bright design.

Pros:

  • high compactness;
  • simple operation;
  • built-in memory 32 MB;
  • reliable magnetic mounting on a flat iron surface;
  • very nice design.
