However, there is a footnote. At 4K, Dual Pixel AF does not work, which limits filming scenarios. You have to be content with static scenes with manual focus adjustment. Shooting vlogs in 4K will be problematic. But in Full HD and even at 50 frames per second Dual Pixel AF works fine.
There is a pretty good microphone for shooting video. You can basically do it. But Canon apparently decided to completely appease the Vlogger community and added a 3.5 mm input for an external microphone. A tripod, an external microphone, a wide-angle lens, an expanded display, and the M50 turns into an ultimate set for the vlogger. Therefore, it is now called the best for video filming himself.
