The front panel of smartphones has not changed much in comparison with the previous generation. At the top of the display is a drop-shaped cutout and at the bottom a small “chin”. The Redmi logo is also located there, but only in the basic version. The overall display-to-body ratio in Note 8 Pro is 91.4% and in Note 8 90%. Key differences are in the back cover.
In the Pro version, the camera module “moved” to the center of the case, but retained the vertical orientation. Three cameras are in a common add-on, while a macro camera and flash are located nearby. At the same time, the “younger brother” inherited the design of the previous generation with a change in the form of additional lenses. Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro are equipped with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass on both sides.
