Zalman ZM-HPS500 and ZM-HPS600
Inexpensive earphones with a tolerable sound for a “dense skating rink” – is this even possible? We are sorting out candidates for this role – two full-size Zalman headsets, each of which costs up to two thousand rubles.
Audio for budget
In game mode, testing took place in the old unkind Left 4 Dead 2 (multiplayer) and Doom 3 – in the usual way and without obvious noise pollution. Zalman accessories did not disappoint: explosions and shots sound clearly, shouts and high frequencies are practiced without hissing. Of course, we are not talking about a complete cutoff of noise, but nothing prevents you from adding volume. Protracted network battles headphones carry confidently, without critical overheating.
In Skype, Discord, Teamspeak, the sound is clear, without interference and pronounced bass or treble. The microphone on both models works well, except that sometimes mechanical sounds are mixed in. There are no problems with negotiations, audibility by team mates is slightly above average.

Impressions and conclusions
Both models honestly fulfill the declared functions. They can be used not only for games, but also for watching movies and chatting online. Low-key – compared to other gaming headsets – the design allows you to use them in the office. In short, the Zalman ZM-HPS500 and ZM-HPS600 are versatile headphones with a modest but acceptable sound for their money.
