OnePlus 5 Review – Price and Specs

This smartphone is considered ideal in terms of price and quality. Millions of fans around the world affectionately call him the flagship killer. OnePlus 5 is a smartphone with a very powerful stuffing, almost pure Android and an iPhone-like look. Best and budget mobil phone in 2019.

Design

Appearance OnePlus 5 – this is the main controversial point. At the back, it looks a lot like the iPhone 7 Plus. The fault is the location of the dual camera. But the front is exactly the same as in the OnePlus 3T. If you forget about the similarities with the iPhone, the smartphone looks good. The younger version uses a dark gray, almost graphite color, and the older one, as in our case, uses black. The body is all-metal, and the paint is matte.

Characteristics

OnePlus 5 runs on the Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. There are versions for 6/64 GB and 8/128 GB of RAM and internal memory, respectively. Most likely, the amount of RAM in this smartphone is more than on many computers. The power of even the younger version is enough for everything, without exception, so it’s worth overpaying for the more expensive version of 128 GB only if you plan to shoot a lot of videos in 4K because there is no support for memory cards in OnePlus 5. A dual-slot is designed exclusively for two SIM cards.

Camera

The dual-module consists of the main camera of 16 megapixels with an aperture of f / 1.7 and a focal length of 24mm, and the second camera of 20 megapixels with an aperture of f / 2.6 and a focal length of 36mm. Two cameras allow you to get double optical zoom and create portraits with the effective blurring of the background. Of this two-fold zoom, 1.6 falls on the optical, the rest is increased programmatically.

The camera setup and the application were developed jointly by DxO Mark specialists, but so far the photos are far from ideal. Perhaps with the firmware update, the quality of images and videos will increase.
