AMD Radeon VII – the first consumer 7nm graphics card

AMD at the CES 2019 conference introduced the world’s first consumer graphics card based on the 7-nm process technology. We are talking about the flagship novelty AMD Radeon VII and, first of all, it is intended for gamers. Thanks to the architecture, the new model was 25 percent more productive than the previous, with similar energy consumption.

Characteristics of AMD Radeon VII

Radeon VII uses AMD Instinct 7nm GPUs. In addition, the moving has 60 computing units operating at a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz, as well as 16 GB of memory with high bandwidth. During her speech at CES, AMD CEO Lisa Su showed how the video card handles Devil May Cry 5, launched in 4K / 60FPS. The gameplay looked pretty smooth.

The AMD Radeon VII graphics card will be available on February 7 at a price of $ 699. In the kit, the buyer will receive the games Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 2 and The Division 2.
